Judy and her husband were such lovely hosts during our long weekend trip. The space is perfect for a couple and meant we had a good base whilst exploring the area and attending a wedding locally. The bed is super comfy and big which is something we often struggle with as we are quite tall. The location is so peaceful but the thick blinds and good window glazing meant we weren’t woken up too early by the neighbouring sheep as can sometimes happen. The view is next to none, the perfect location to go and switch off. Otherwise all amenities working perfectly and the place was spotless.

Our second stay here- I think that says it all. Judy and Steve are kind and welcoming and we had everything we needed in a beautifully clean and tidy space. Then there are the views,the birdlife, walks, wildflowers- stunning!

We throughly enjoyed our stay with Judy and Steve. The accommodation was first class, everything was amazing. The views were outstanding and we cannot wait to return. Pristine 1 bedroom annex on a bungalow with stunning views overlooking the valley. Remote secluded location. Judy and Steve are great hosts and provided everything we needed. Good WiFi but limited signal. Ideal for a couple with the nearest town within 10 minutes drive. Located very close to a good walk along Eden valley. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay at Judy and Steve's lovely bungalow. If you're after peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings then this is the place for you. The weather actually was very kind to us this time and we got to walk in the nature reserve ( literally on the doorstep) to Smardale Gill viaduct which was well worth it. And we got to watch the lambs as well as the many many birds through the patio windows.
