The host was exceedingly pleasant and responsive. The accommodation is remarkably spacious, private, and fully equipped, providing a homely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I have shared my observations with the host and she has acknowledged them. So, we didn't stay the night. We were disappointed with what we were presented with. Upon arrival, we found the environment around the accomodation to be unwelcoming and the rental itself was cold. I could have spent time trying to fathom out the heating system but I shouldn't be expected to do so. There were insufficent towels avaialble. I have since read previous reviews and this issue appears to be a re-occuring theme since at least September. The food cupboard could have been better as there were crumbs evident on the shelves and I personally, would have liked to have seen pillow cases on the pillows. A niche point I know, but it was listed as " luxurious" and therefore, it is that sort of detail I would have expected. I want to re-iterate that our decision not to stay wasn't entirley down to the accommodation being disappointing but it was a major factor in our decison making.
