Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt. In der Casa hatten wir ein großes, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, eigener Terrasse mit Meerblick, gut mit verschiedenen Getränken gefülltem Kühlschrank und Aircondition. Je nach Wunsch haben wir ein phantastisches, sehr reichhaltiges Abendessen mit Suppe, Fleisch, Gemüse, Fisch, Octopus, Salat und Obst bekommen. Das Frühstück ist ebenso vielfältig mit Obst, Omelette, Toastbrot, Pfannkuchen, Kaffee, Tee und frischem Guavensaft. Bei den Uhrzeiten für Frühstück und Abendessen sind sie immer ganz auf uns eingegangen und waren sehr um unser Wohl bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unseren Mietwagen konnten wir sicher auf dem Grundstück parken. Die Casa liegt ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt.

Es waren 3 sehr schöne Tage auf Santa Lucia und im Casa Thais mit Blick auf's Meer. Leider ist direkt gegenüber von unserem Eingang eine wilde Müllkippe. Es hat nicht gerochen, aber sieht halt nicht so hübsch aus. Roberto und seine Frau haben als Taxi fungiert und uns von Camagüey nach Santa Lucia gebracht. Mely & Dieppa vor Ort haben sich dann ganz zauberhaft um uns gekümmert und sie kochen sehr lecker. Kompliment! Auch sind sie immer mit Tipps zur Stelle und helfen wo sie nur können. :)

Big and clean room for 3 persons with new bathroom. The room is equipped with everything you need: comfortable bed, fridge, aircon, warm water. All windows and the door have fly screens. The porch is good for relaxing with a wide view. The host couple is very friendly and helpful. He speaks English. The breakfast und dinner are very delicious and plenty. Be careful if you use public transport. From Camagüey the camiónes go only from monday to friday until 2 pm. If you go at another time there is only the taxi for 60$. The beach is very nice with the sea of cyan colour and only a few other people. The beach is only a few minutes away but there is no shadow. You find roofage 2 km away / 30 min walk along the beach. There are only few restaurants 2 km away. We can recommend Dinoco. He has good food and reasonable prices. He also prepares vegetarian food if you ask.

This place is a little piece of heaven. You can see the ocean and feel the breeze from the patio. It's a couple minutes walk away. It's very quiet and peaceful here. Great place to escape the city and read a book. Every evening watch the neighbor rancher on horseback tend to his goats. The room itself is very nice with a comfortable bed and good shower. The young couple caretakers are very kind and enjoy cooking for guests. And the food is amazing! I want to return just to eat there again.
