Ineke’s place was a perfect location for my mother’s and my first time in Hawaii! The place is as described and was nice and quiet. My mom stayed in the bedroom and I took the pull out bed. Both of us were comfortable on the mattresses and the AC worked great. The lanai was a beautiful way to start our mornings every day and end our nights.

Perfect location to get into Kona, drive up to nearby Mauna Kea volcano, and best snorkeling reef 10 minutes away. Walk to coffee shops, restaurants and more. Plus a pretty seaside pool right next to the surf. All around nice place and excellent host!

If you want a beach vacation in Kona, you can’t get better locations than this! A few minute walk to the town with restaurants and shops. The place is right on the ocean and the view is truly amazing. You could hear the waves splashing. But one note about the place is that you can hear your upstairs neighbors walking, so if you are sensitive to noise make sure to bring some earplugs. Ineke is an amazing host and she is very helpful and communicative. Everything from checking in to checking out went smoothly. The kitchen is fully stocked and they also have umbrellas and chairs for you to enjoy the beach. Overall I highly recommend — you really won’t regret it!

This is an ideal situation: tucked away in a quiet corner of Kona and yet walking distance to the hustle and bustle. The view is spectacular and it’s got incredibly easy access to/from the parking spot, elevator, laundry, and pool. There is a very small amount of noise from tenants upstairs, what you would expect in a condo. Bring quarters if you want to do laundry. Ineke was a GREAT host. Very helpful and responsive! The condo has just about anything you’d need for a great time in Hawaii. Snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach towels, and more! There is a very small hint of mildew, which I came to find in several hotels in the area. If you want to avoid that, then I would say stay away from the locations on the water. It wasn’t an issue for 3/4 of us, but I want people to know in case of sensitivities.

We loved this place and the very short walk to town with its shopping and restaurants! The unit was spotless and well equipped for our days here and at the beach.
