We were a party of two adults and one child and stayed for 5 days to explore the area. The cottage was so cute and cozy. It was immaculately clean and had plenty of blankets to wrap up with on cool nights. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed for a week long stay. Tracy's recommendations were fantastic. We visited the beaches and restaurants she suggested and were not disappointed, especially College Cove for beach time on windy days. The cottage is conveniently located close to McKinleyville and Arcata for quick access to grocery stores and everything else you might need during your stay. My son really loved feeding the mustang and donkeys and it was nice to have animals near because we were missing our own. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept well with such peaceful and quiet surroundings. There was a fireplace to warm the cottage for chilly mornings which added to the coziness of the space. We definitely recommend a stay here.
