We would absolutely recommend this place. Beautiful location. Quiet, comfortable, peaceful. Janet had thought of everything we could possibly need for a delightful stay. Beaches to write home about. Terrific birdwatching: sea eagles, short eared owls, all the waders. Handy local shops and cafés/restaurants. Great to meet Iain and be shown around. Thanks for the welcome pack!

A great stay in a lovely place - perfect for us and our dog - we loved it and would highly recommend Janet’s place. Berneray is a truly beautiful island it has magnificent beaches, incredible wildlife and the people are so warm and friendly - there are great links to the rest of the Hebrides too. Special mention for Iain and Lorna who warmly welcomed us on arrival and were so helpful. We hope to return.

Janet's place was a very comfortable place to stay with a young baby and dog. It felt very much like a home away from home. Janet was great for recommendations before we arrived which made our trip easier to plan. Check in with Janet's friends Iain and Lorna was great. They helped with everything and didn't leave until we were properly settled in. This was very kind and much appreciated! The location is fantastic right on the water, watching the seals bobbing in the water from the kitchen and garden. Really can't fault Janet's place and would recormd to any friends and family. Thanks from us all!

We had the most wonderful stay over Christmas/Hogmanay on Berneray. Janet’s house was perfectly cosy, well maintained & surrounded by stunning views and wildlife. The house is the perfect base for exploring the Uists or just making the most of the peaceful surroundings & relaxing on site. This property had everything that we needed and really felt like a home from home.
