If you do yourself a favour and stay at Tanya's when you're in Hobart, here's what you'll find. A beautifully restored building, swimming with character, art and charm that is warm and inviting. A massive big room that you can spread out in a place that feels like home. A lovely welcoming host who is as interesting, engaging person and helpful. A kitchen that is so well stocked with all you need to cook that I thought it was a private residence. A lovely little cafe downstairs where you can grab a great coffee or home made cakes. Warm heated floors in both tastefully designed bathrooms and all at a great value. The stairs may be a struggle for some and the road noise can start your day at 7am, but you're 9 minutes from the city center and within reach of anything you need. I loved staying there and so I recommend it highly.. Thanks Tanya, you've created a beautiful restful haven for the weary traveller.

Tanya's place was a perfect escape. The room was stylishly decorated and well maintained, the area was inviting with cafes and shops nearby, check-in was seamless and Tanya was very responsive throughout. An ideal spot in Newtown.

I enjoyed the ambiance and peacefulness of my room. The Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. Loved the artistic atmosphere and availability of art books to enjoy. Easy access to the Cafe next door was a bonus.
