Sea Rose is located in one of the most pristine, unspoiled, undiscovered and beautiful places anywhere on the east coast of North America, the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, on spectacular Summerville Beach. Along with its natural beauty, the people, the culture and the local experiences will create memories of a lifetime for you and yours.
Here are a few samplings to whet your appetite…
At the far end of Summerhill Beach is the Quarterdeck restaurant in case you want to go out to dinner, or the White Point Resort and Golf Course is a 15-minute drive.
Carter's Beach, a soon to be provincial park, another incredible white sand beach is a 6-minute drive from Sea Rose, in-season lobster can be yours straight from the boat. Places are abundant for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and hiking.
For those seeking breathtaking views of a different sort, head down the coast for a lovely 20-minute drive to the Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct. Kejimkujik offers hikers a myriad of landscapes and wildlife to admire over an 8.5-kilometre (5.4-mile) trail. The park’s white, sandy beaches, lagoons and patches of oak and maple offer plenty of opportunity to spot harbour seals lounging in the sun, yellowthroats and the endangered piping plover.
Lunenburg, a UNESCO protected site, because of its uniquely beautiful architecture is a 45-minute drive. Adding to that, the absolutely charming towns of Mahone Bay and Chester collectively provide wonderful dining and unique shopping experiences. The Chester Sailing Regatta attracts sailors from around the world for some of the best sailing in the Americas. The Lost Treasure of Oak Island television show is shot on Oak Island in Mahone Bay and the mystery continues to this day... Bring your pirate patch and help solve the mystery once and for all.
