Das Dorf Birżebbuġa ist nicht besonders hübsch, aber trotzdem belebt von den Einheimischen. Es gibt nur wenig (gute) Restaurants. Der Strand ist schön. Der Hafen dominiert die Aussicht, was uns nicht gestört hat, aber auch nicht gerade schön ist. Die Strasse bis zum Strand (100m) ist etwas dreckig und man muss eine vielbefahrene Strasse queren. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich. Die vielen steilen Treppen sind aber gerade mit Kindern nicht ideal. Die Dachterrasse ist nett, es gibt aber keinen Esstisch und auch keine Aussicht, ausser auf die Gebäude ringsherum. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in allem hat es uns gut gefallen, aber als Traumziel würden wir Birżebbuġa nun auch nicht bezeichnen.

Great location, easy walk to the beach and restaurants , supermarket was within walking distance. House was basic and had everything you need , clean and tidy. Parking was a challenge as it’s only street parking, first come first served, but we alway had parking but took time to find. Roof top terrace was great and laundry facilities were good, plenty of drying space, Stephen and his wife were very attentive even left a welcoming food package for our arrival. There are steps into the master bedroom and the into the on suite bathroom, so take that into consideration if you have mobility issues.

We‘ve had a really nice stay at Stephen‘s apartment. I can recommend for a family or group of up to 4 people.

Stephen et sa femme nous ont très bien accueilli en nous faisant faire le tour du logement. La maison est typique et très confortable, le toit terrasse particulièrement apprécié en soirée.

Steven‘s place was just as it was described. It worked really well for us as it had a sofa, bed downstairs and a shower room and as my mum was unable to do the stairs she stayed in the downstairs of the house. The Kitchen had everything that you needed in order to prepare meals and the property was just great in every way., spacious, comfortable, and homely with some personal touches. The location was very good for us also and the information in the kitchen to help people who are new to the island was very interesting, and Steven were sure to cover all bases in this department.. The tea, coffee and food in the fridge was a welcome surprise, and greatly appreciated after a long travel .
