Marie is a wonderful host. She made sure that the property was suitable for our needs, highlighting any potential issues, always responding quickly to my messages. There was a last-minute change to the composition of our group that required an extra bed, and she kindly offered a roll-away bed that they had available. It was ready for use when our group arrived, and was very comfortable. The place was warm, clean and looked freshly-renovated, with lots of extras that made for a relaxing stay. Thank you for going the extra mile, Marie. Really appreciate your kindness.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marie's place. It is even better than in the pictures and easy walking distance to restaurants, takeaways and supermarket as well as the bus stop.

When you walk out on the patio, with a cold beer in your hand, grilling some fresh red NZ steak, and you look out over the lake, you'll be glad you booked this Airbnb. The apartment is well equipped, all the kitchen items you need (except for a regular oven), utensils, pans and even a easy to use dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bed was very comfortable and there is plenty of room. Marie is a great host, even though I self-checked into the unit (very easy by the way, easy to get to with Apple maps/G maps) she came down mid-stay just to say hi. The location is close to several grocery stores and restaurants, although you probably need to drive, which is pretty normal in NZ. Downtown is relatively close also, a few km away. My only caution is that it is close to the airport, so you do get an occasional airplane flying over, the airport isn't that busy though, so it wasn't a problem for me. Overall I would definitely stay again.
