I booked this as an early 50th anniversary getaway for my parents. They absolutely loved it. Kevin was so friendly when they arrived, was helpful when they needed something, but also gave them their privacy. The cabin was perfect and they loved being able to step right out the door onto the dock to fish. It was so peaceful and quiet, especially at night, but didn’t feel like they were just out in the middle of nowhere. Quick 10-15 minute drive into town if they needed something or wanted to eat. Bathroom was a little small but nothing that would keep them from going back… which they plan to do.

The peaceful quiet was just what my wife and I needed. No stress, enjoyed the hot tub. Our service dog loved the new smells!! However she was afraid of the fish. Beautiful large Bluegill fish, I wish it was not catch & release only. I grilled every meal we ate and being able to walk from the deck to the pier was fantastic. I hope we get a chance to go back in swimming weather. I definitely recommend this to others

Always an awesome place to stay. It’s quiet and peaceful. My husband loves fishing sooooo… we caught 393 bluegill and 10 bass. We take food so never have to leave, we just cook it up on the grill or stove. We bring wood to place in the outdoor fire pit and it’s always nice. The beds are comfortable, always plenty of room. There are boats, kayaks and paddle boats available. There’s a hot tub for after hours or anytime. Kevin is always around when needed and checking to ensure you need anything. Thank you Kevin for a wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful stay! Cabin was right on the water, clean and really cool. Our two boys loved the paddle boat, hot tub, fishing, and sleeping on the loft. They would start fishing while we were having coffee and cooking breakfast. We caught a ton of crappie and perch! Our dogs loved swimming in the pond and hanging out around the fire pit. The entire property is well maintained and cared for. The cabin is meant for a couple or a couple with two kids, no more. The cabin is well decorated with a lot of little touches. The kitchen had the bare essentials. The bed was a little hard but still good for a few nights. The host is on the premises, super friendly and responsive to any questions. We will definitely look to stay again.
