We were very excited to spend the weekend at Lake Harmony to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Unfortunately, the property was unkempt; the yard was overgrown with grass and very dirty. At night, we had a rotten running around, and we were running away from it, but later we realized it was a squirrel, so we managed to get out of the house. To our surprise, when we got to the bed and uncovered the sheets, there was a dead squirrel in the bed. At that point, we decided to call Airbnb, and we also sent a message to the management company. They contacted us in the morning, and we told them we didn’t want to stay another night after everything we went through the night before. They said they would send pest control, but no one showed up while we were there. We didn’t have such a pleasant stay.

Very cozy place. The Hot Tub and BBQ area is nice. We saw a bear and a lot of deers. We had such a great time.

The cabin was truly a beautiful place once we finally got inside. But, I would like to highlight the issues, so guests would know what to expect or the issues will be fixed. We kept receiving the wrong code for the doors. When we first arrived, we had to wait an hour for someone to get back to us with a new code. Since the code supplied was wrong. They stated they couldn’t accommodate us for their mistake. Next day the code was changed w/o us being updated once again. We had to wait for a couple of mins to get inside. On the last day a random guy came to the house saying he’s a contractor. We were hoping to enjoy the jacuzzi on the last day but it didn’t work. Had it on for 5 hours or more and it did not get hot (yes, we turned the degrees to the highest temp. Which was 104). No log was provided for the campfire outside, so we had to continuously put leaves, twigs/sticks, acorns, etc. on the campfire to keep it going. No iron was provided, you have to bring your own. Outside is unkept.
