Wonderful stay at this beautiful spot. It is exactly as described, very peaceful and a great way to escape busy lives for a while. Eduardo the caretaker was always on hand but never intrusive, he organised a boat trip from the deck, took us horseback riding through the jungle and went out of his way to bring us local food. It’s remote, the power and wifi went out a couple of times for no more than a few minutes, but that’s the whole point of coming to a place like this. Thanks for a great stay.

Joao's house was wonderful for our family. There was hot water for the showers but it was limited and hard to adjust. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen nicely stocked. We cooked several meals during our stay. The outdoor spaces were the highlight. The pool was perfect and the view amazing. There was even a new washer which we didn't expect. The water was a bit rough while we were there but we managed to get out to snorkel just in front of the house. Take the steps down to the water and there's a channel you can swim out from. The coral makes it a bit of a maze but there were plenty of fish to see in the small area. Wifi and cell service are spotty and both would go out randomly. It wasn't a big deal for us. The location is remote. The nearest place for limited groceries was 25 minutes away. We tried one food stand just up the road at Cacique Beach and it was good. The privacy and quiet were worth the distance. If you are looking to relax this is a great place!

Nous avons été charmés par le logement !! C'est indescriptible à quel point c'est magnifique ! Nous sommes arrivés de nuit et la descente pour arriver à la propriété nous semblait impossible ! Heureusement l'hôte et Eduardo ont été rassurants et parfaits ! Le lendemain, la beauté du paysage nous a coupé le souffle et l'accès nous a sembler plus simple tout compte fait ! La noirceur et la fatigue du voyagement nous avait certainement rendu plus craintifs ! tout à été absolument magnifique et au delà de nos attentes ! La perfection !!!! Les enfants ont été charmé par les poissons à même la cours, la magnifique piscine et la vue à couper le souffle ! Nous avons apprécié chaque minutes passées à cette propriété et l'hôte à été franchement sympathique et Eduardo toujours à l'écoute ! nous avons eu la chance d'aller faire un tour en bateau avec un amie d'Eduardo et avons passé une journée incroyable ! Merci mille fois pour ses souvenirs incroyables !

The location of the place is amazing. Having a pool and a stairway to the reef/ocean were highlights. We visited in January and were lucky enough to have a few days with clear water. The reef is beautiful and there was lots of fish and life. It is a little challenging to get out given the reef/tide pools but once in the water it was amazing! Eduardo and Yasurri were very helpful and attentive. We had complete privacy and the surrounding beach and sunsets were beautiful as well. We will definitely look to come back again sometime.
