We LOVED our stay here at the BBQ hostel, Dao was such a wonderful and kind host to us. The room was clean and comfortable & super cute. It even had Netflix 😂 which was a nice addition after spending most of our trip in more rural places. It’s close to some good food and coffee places. Everyone was so kind and helpful~ this was my personal favorite place to stay so far in our trip. 10/10, five stars all around, great price for what you get. Would stay here again if in the area

The BBQ Hostel was fantastic! Jane was very hospitable. We rented motorbikes and drove around the bay. The area is under construction but we visited in off season so maybe that was why. The place is a one minute walking distance from the water and great views once you get to the water. They arranged the boat tour around the bay, had delicious breakfast in the mornings, and even helped us get a bus to our next destination. Family owned and very friendly. Would highly recommend staying here! WiFi is a bit spotty but that’s the least of our concerns.

Very quiet place in the new area of Halong. Room has everything to let you feel home. Bed very comfortable. Booking Trips at the reception, I can recommend. Also bookingTransfers to anywhere are cheap.
