Beautiful cottage in a stunning location, comfortable and cosy with everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Joy, would definitely recommend.

A lovely homely little cottage which included everything you could possibly need and more. A generous welcome basket and other essentials, eg tea, coffee, milk, egg, orange juice, bottles of water, strawberries and grapes and a full fruit bowl. The grandkids loved it. Joy and Sarah were there to greet us and show us around the property. They were excellent friendly hosts. They made our stay extra special. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property or returning ourselves.

This review is for our second stay at Brook Hall Lodge and it was lovely to return. The lodge is a home away from home which has everything you need during your stay. Joy and Sarah are wonderful hosts. We were welcomed back with a lovely food and gift basket, which included treats for our cat. There was milk, salad items, figs from Joy's garden, homemade soups and eggs in the fridge. A selection of fruit and vegetables were provided, as well as baguettes. Sarah made her super delicious homemade soups and cheese straws - thank you so much Sarah! Joy, Sarah and Neil are very friendly, they have a great sense of humour and are always happy to assist with any issues that may arise. We would also like to thank Mark who kept the gardens and natural pond neat and well kept. We enjoyed making use of the charcoal BBQ. The best feature is the very large natural pond which has fish and birds. Thank you Joy, Sarah, Neil and Mark for making our stay a wonderful and happy experience.

Fully equipped lodge with everything you need for your stay (home from home). We were welcomed with the best food and gift hampers for the adults, children and our cat. The homemade soup and cheese straws were delicious - thank you Sarah! Beautiful gardens and the best feature is the very large natural pond with fish and birds. Great outdoor enclosure for your pet. Peaceful location. We enjoyed making use of the charcoal BBQ grill - thank you Joy! Thank you Neil for kindly assisting us during our stay. Joy, Sarah and Neil are helpful and very kind. We look forward to coming back for our second stay.

We found Brook Lodge to be a lovely rural retreat. It was spotless and well equipped. Lovely place for a peaceful summer break. Joy's team gave us a very warm welcome and even supplied a Christmas tree with presents underneath. There are plenty of walks on the doorstep and wildlife to enjoy. The heating could be improved for those cold winter days Chris and Elaine
