Shiekh was an awesome host for our 9 person company retreat. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces, a broad variety of furniture, and corners and comfy places for people to spend personal or small group time. The ping pong tournament was epic and the kitchen was big enough for making group meals or multiple people making meals simultaneously. Everything we needed for the stay and more. And a rarity - real dishwater and glasses that matched. Next time I need a place for a group to meet we’ll definitely consider coming back!

great location for a medium sized group get away. relatively remote location allows your group to separate from the daily grind and refocus on the needs of all.

This is my third time bringing a retreat group to the Ranch at Castro Valley and I love it every time! The weather was beautiful this time, so we spent even more time than usual exploring the gorgeous nature paths on the property, as well as lots of time in the hot tub and in the exquisitely decorated home. Can't recommend highly enough and Rudy and Sheikh are always so communicative, kind and helpful!

Oh my. What a very special place to celebrate a milestone birthday! Everything was fabulous. Comfortable beds for everyone (no bunk beds), a stocked kitchen, privacy in natural beauty, wonderful places for conversations, immediate responses to any question asked, easy drive to airport, and more. We (all women in 50s to 80s) were completely delighted with the property, and likely further rentals for family reunions will ensue. It was simply a glorious and memorable weekend, and the place played a key role in it! Thank you so much!

Great place for a big group! The kitchen is particularly wonderful - easily labelled and easy to find everything thats needed. We especially appreciated the cleaning fees covering the full cleanup - quite rare! Shiekh also provided great local recommendations - made it very easy for us!
