Rebuilt in modern tastes 40 years ago, La Closiere became the abode of Thakur Gajendra Singh ji, when he decided to move there to enjoy bustling city life from a relatively idyllic country life of Dhamotar, just over 180 kms from city of Udaipur. Kunwar Mayurdhwaj Singh, son of Thakur Gajendra Singh is the man behind the current avatar of La Closerie Dhamotar.
