The Old Hay Shed was absolutely amazing. It was even more beautiful, spacious and modern than it looked in pictures. The bathroom and bedroom were particularly luxurious and the view from the balcony was the cherry on top. The location is also perfect, less than 5 mins walk to the centre of Cartmel. Rachel was also very responsive and the recommendations in the booklet provided in the house are ideal. We cannot wait to come back!

Stylish & spacious apartment with a sumptuous bedroom and bathroom. It was very well stocked and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Great location and essential having your own off street parking. We loved the little heated terrace - a little too cold for early March but perfect for warmer months. A perfect Airbnb!

The Hay Shed was everything and more. The pictures don't do it justice, very spacious, and feels like a home away from home. Great location, just a 2 min walk to the village with grea pubs and restaurants. Also, a great location to vist surrounding tourist hotspots.

Cartmel is a beautiful village. We loved it there. Lots of fine places to eat and drink. Lovely shops. Rachel’s place had parking which was such a bonus. The home is a contemporary modern design just for 2. This means there is a huge amount of space. The kitchen is great. You will find everything you need in the drawers above drawers and the clever under sink wrap around drawer. The house “file” is invaluable as there is a lot of of tech. The file explains everything so there is no pot luck about how things work. The bed is a spacious Superking and the linen is good quality.

Everything was perfect for our stay at the Old Hay Shed. Easy check-in, clear instructions and perfectly located for enjoying Cartmel and the Lakes. Very beautiful property and we hope to visit again.
