Booked one month stay- lasted 1 week! Fridge/freezer not work-food lost.2/3 showers not working. living room/kitchen lights broken/or strobing. Told they were “unfixable” Pool pump broke. (Unusable) All tv’s did not work. Dirty pot/pan limited utensils 1 teaspoon, 2 forks no kettle, toaster, Drain stop, tea towel. Reg towels are rags- bar stools carpet all not as pictured. Bar stools way too high to use. Men’s soiled underwear found in patio furniture. Bugs found on beds and substance found in corner of mattress. Drinking water not supplied after 1 st jug (cost of $2). Bed sheet missing from bed. Sink drain stoppers not working. So many things need attention in this unit. Hot water works on switch (they forgot to mention). This unit is advertised for 6 people. Living room seating for 5. 20 matches to lite stove. Not safe at night outside gate- beach very disappointing. Multiple level changes in tile front door/pool area -tripping hazard elderly /kids. Not recommended!!!

I loved this home i felt right at home, the house was extremely clean the pool was beautiful, the host contacted me to make sure everything was fine i will definitely be back best two weeks i have spent. I felt safe, great water pressure which is hard to find in la romana. My family love the house the AC was great.

The place is basic. Doesn’t have hand soap in the dispensers, there’s no washer and dryer, but it has everything else. It’s in a gated community that has 24/7 guards. Super secure and nice guys. The location is not touristy, so there’s not a huge amount of stuff to do. This is what we were looking for as we hate tourist traps like Punta Cana. The beach is rocky but for 200 you can get to Catalina island for the day. Did that a couple times. Lots of restaurants by the beach. This house was what we needed with 4 kids. The floors are smooth so be careful. The area does lose power. We lost power 3 times in the 8 days we were there. The house does have a battery backup so lights and internet stayed working. If you have an issue, the manager was super responsive and got answers quickly regardless of the day. I recommend it even with any issues as it wasn’t the properties issues just the area.

Ok so this review is not to discpurage any one from visiting this airbnb because in all honestly is a beautiful home but needs improvement first of when i arrived we found all aircos on which is great because of the heat in the dr we didn't noticed until it was getting dark and we had to start getting ready for an event we had to attend none of the lights were working none and this was due to a problem with the generator i messaged melissa and she send someone to check and he fixed it it lasted one day the next day same thing happened another thing which was an immediate problem was the showers none had property working heads we had to take a cup and scoop the water from the bottom faucet to be able to shower the water pressure is crap as well and lastly the towels were paper thin like those u get in cheap motels or how they call it in dr cabañas mind u this is the second time I've stayed here because it is conveniently close to everything and it is in a quiet area they did add a pool
