This was the 2nd time we have stayed at the Laughing Horse. We really enjoyed it. It is quiet and peaceful. We really liked having a washer and dryer and the big tub was nice to soak in as well after a day of hiking.

There are acres of beautiful Chihuahuan desert right outside the door, so you don't even have to leave the property to be wowed. The back deck is perfect for birding, looking at the Milky Way, and relaxing in the shade. We saw three Barbary sheep traipse across the hill right beside us! Inside is very comfortable too. The mattress was great. The kitchen is well supplied. The location is close to Terlingua ghost town and right in between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. I'd definitely stay here again!
What a wonderful trip! The house is nestled between amazing views, a short drive to town and to the park entrance - what more could you ask for. Our group kept saying we’d love to come back and stay at the same exact place. The fridge was fully stocked with condiments and the kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Thanks for a great stay!
Great place near Big Bend and Terlingua, TX. Place was well stocked and very comfortable for entire family.
