I picked this Airbnb because it was close to airport for my short 1 night stay between flights. I thought it was going to be an easy check in because it said “meets host at check in” but even though after I said I’ll be there at 2 for checkin, she didn’t mention she wasn’t going to be there nor did she leave clear instructions to get in. She sent me pictures of the outside bungalow after I arrived waiting and asking questions. After we got in, we inspected the place and found food that smelt like raw fish in the fridge. The neighborhood is also very noisy with dogs barking all night, which isn’t the hosts fault but made a nights sleep very difficult. What can be fixed is the light above the bed which never went off. It flickered all night. Wasn’t expecting over the top experience, but I don’t think this stay met the bare minimums.

Vaekehu’s place is just as described. Convient to Faa’a airport and to Papeete center. The bungalow was a clean, quiet with all the amenities you need for a short stay. I have stayed at the property many times as it is convenient to the airport when I am in Papeete for a few days of business. Hina is always available to answer questions and to assist with transportation if needed for a reasonable fee. The bungalow has AC, a great shower, comfortable bed. A nice place to transition when traveling to or from the islands of Tahiti. This is an excellent accommodation.
