The Cottage is a cozy place with an open living area. It has been beautifully remodeled and has all new furnishings and appliances. There is a large fenced in back yard, small patio for grilling and even outside garage and storage. The master bedroom has a California King bed and the second bedroom has two twins. All the comforts of home including a full kitchen with new appliances and fully stocked with all your basic cooking needs. Guests get to enjoy a nice dining area with a view of the backyard, an open layout with spacious living area and Wi-Fi access throughout. Also includes a great kitchen, mudroom with washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a California King bed and the second bedroom has two twins.

Great place to stay. It was very clean, easily accessible to our family reunion. Check in and checkout a breeze. Highly recommend the host and the house as a wonderful place to stay.

Enjoy the small-town charm of Oswego. Be sure to visit all the nice businesses in town including Black Crow Trading Company, one of the nicest flea markets you will ever visit (antiques, custom shirts, farmhouse decor, gifts and more). Be sure and check out all the local places to eat and things to do in the Guest book located inside the house. Also, be sure to visit our beautiful City Park, you won't find one nicer in Southeast Kansas. There are lots of charming towns to explore in Southeast Kansas if you plan to venture out on a road trip.
The property is close to downtown Oswego and local dining options, beautiful city park, city golf course and Food Trucks on Fridays and Saturdays! There is parking available with sidewalk access to the house.

We love to enjoy time on our porch, camping and just spending quiet time together. We love our four grandbabies immensely (3 boys and a girl). We have a very hectic work lifestyle right now as we are building out this new venture, but we have our sights on a much slower pace of life soon. Bub still loves to archery hunt and I even hunt with him on occasion (more for the peacefulness it brings, than the kill). We truly hope you enjoy your stay in our houses and encourage you to learn about the ten houses we offer including Rustic Retreat with 5 houses on one property.
