Wir hatten zwei schöne Tage in Cascais. Wir hatten uns verspätet aber es war kein Problem und jemand kam sofort und brachte uns den Schlüssel und zeigte uns alles in der Wohnung. Sie ist super gelegen und hat alles was man braucht.

The place is not completely as shown in pictures . These pictures are from when the apartment was newer . There is a pungent smell as soon as you open the door and walk in. It is a smell or mildew or mold that wouldn’t go away no matter what I did. The couch also has a body odor smell in the fabric and so does the carpet and pillows. The shower heads don’t all work and sometimes there’s not a lot of hot water for longer than 10-15 mins. The shower floor was slimy and slippery, there’s nothing that can be done about this as part of the reason is the material of the tile itself. The location of the apartment is convenient and easy but it’s located behind two strip/gentleman’s clubs that on Thursday- Sunday are playing loud bass music until 4AM. I do appreciate that the host listened to my concerns and tried to fix the slippery shower situation but overall the issues with this place are not so easily resolved.
