We had booked the property from 29th may to 3rd june. Out of all the things we did on our short trip to Dalhousie-Mclodganj-dharamshala, the best part was our stay at teddy's longue. The way to reach the property is no doubt a little tricky and the elders may curse you for a while (2-3 minutes), but onse you are there at the property, the curse will be undone. Everyone in our family was totally mesmerized with the location and the view. Property is huge and comfortable. More bedrooms are available nat additional cost. The property is located at a distance from the Dalhousie, in the mountains. Kitchen has everything to cater the needs. Amru ji, the caretaker, is the heart and soul of the property. He will for sure make your stay extremely comfortable and will take care of the smallest of the requirements. Cooks decent food. 300 per person for breakfast and 500 per person for lunch/dinner. We found this a little on the higher side (Food is optional). Big thumbs up to the hosts, Azmat and harjinder ji. Thank you. We had a great time.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our holiday..a quaint house in a beautiful and secluded location away from the main town, in midst of Deodar forest yet with all amenities possible to make the stay comfortable. Multiple sit out areas including the garden was the highlight where you could spend hours chitchatting or just admiring the views around. Tastefully done rooms with huge and comfortable beds. Hari, the owner made it all the more special..our stay was so comfortable..right from arranging cabs for pick up and drop to local excursions, he was literally a call away for all our queries.. that personal touch in everything he did for us is beyond mere word of appreciation. Ambro, the caretaker took really good care of us..he was literally available 24x7..full of stories and very polite guy. Overall, I highly recommend Teddy’s lodge if you planning a trip to Dalhousie..They have a beautiful house in an amazing location and they take really good care of their guests..and This indeed was the highlight of our trip.

We stayed at Teddy’s Cottage and it was nothing short of a little piece of heaven. The cottage is cozy with quite a few sit-outs and other corners where one could settle down and enjoy some peace & quiet. The fireplace brings an old world charm and there are other little touches which add to the warmth of the place. The views of the mountains are expansive and uninterrupted. Mr. Singh, the owner of the cottage has been a most helpful, caring and friendly host. He called up a couple of times before the stay to check on the logistics, personal preferences, etc. During the stay, he would check up to see if everything was going well and if anything more was needed. A special shout-out to the caretaker, Ambro who was extremely hospitable, warm and friendly. He took care of every single ask and never said no to anything. He customised all our meals specific to our preferences, arranged for a memorable hike up to a snowy mountain peak, etc. and I can’t thank him enough. Teddy’s cottage has been quite a find - this was my first stay there but will most definitely not be my last.

The villa is located at a height above Dalhousie, and is on the way to Khajjiar. Our family enjoyed the villa and it's facilities. We enjoyed the fireplace in the living room, especially when the temperature outside dipped below 0 degrees. The caretaker was wonderful and took care of our every need. He cooked simple and wholesome meals for us. The view was spectacular, and we were happy to be distanced from the crowd. The snow and the feeling of being one with nature - unbeatable! The host was constantly in touch with us, and made every effort to ensure a smooth check in and a memorable stay. Overall, a wonderful experience, to be recommended!

The place is very neat and clean, close to nature, ambience was also awesome. Five star for everything.Looking forward to visit again.
