We went away 9 adults, 1 2yr old and 1 dog and the house was so lovely, spacious and clean. The position of the property was perfect for us. Walking distance to the castle and the beach and only a short drive to other local attractions. We stayed for 5 days and it definitely wasn't long enough as none of us wanted to leave. We've made some amazing family memories.

We had a wonderful time at Bod Eithin there were 12 of us and it accommodated us all very well. the host was very responsive and helpful very quickly the beds were comfortable except for just one (the single bed in the bedroom with the double bed had very hard springs) Pros - Great location - Good size - Modern bathrooms - Lots of parking, space - Hot tub - Quiet - Close to beach - Close to convenience store for any essentials Cons - Lack of toilet paper - Chipped crockery - Not enough sofa room in living room - Run out of hot water too quickly - Needed light outside hot tub - ⁠there was no en-suite downstairs just a bathroom - ⁠single bed that was in the room with the double was very uncomfortable with springs from the mattress digging in your back

What a fantastic place to stay. The house is beautiful, location is fantastic, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. There were two things I felt could be improved on. 1. The heating. You are unable to control the heating you need to text the host to turn it on. We had a young baby and we text twice about the heating and the hosts promptly turned it on. However it was a bit annoying to have to do that but also there were times when we were too cold or then too hot and I didn’t want to pester the hosts. You should be able to control it yourself, particularly in December. 2. The hot tub. The hot tub is great however the lighting is so poor. By the hot tub it is pitch black especially as it gets dark by like 4.30pm. It was also raining so not only could we not see anything we also had no where to place our towels etc without them getting soaked. If there was some lighting and a place for that kind of thing it would have been perfect. However, overall, would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely weekend at Bod Eithin. Called the property owner to check over the booking and was informed we could check in early which was great! On arrival the entry process was super simple. The house was very clean and tidy. Heating on on arrival and the house was heated well throughout our stay! Bedrooms were very clean and laid out beautifully. Comfy beds. Crib and high chair were supplied. Downstairs rooms not en suite - have a shared bathroom. Bathrooms were all very clean. Kitchen has all gadgets and gizmos you need. We managed to cook with ease. Washer and dryer very handy, lots of towels provided which was good as the kitchen tile can get very slippy if wet (from coming in from hot tub). Can rewash if needed too. Outside is beautiful. Lovely views. Would have just liked some lighting and maybe just a fire pit for seating area?? No just eat/Uber eat delivery so you will have to travel. Castle (£8.70 entry) and beach are both a short walk away. Great stay all in all.
