We stayed here as a family for nine days and was a perfect base for exploring Falmouth and the surrounding area. It's an easy walk (down the world's steepest hill!) into town and around a twenty minute (or five minute drive) to the beach. The living areas are perfect for a family with small kids, a den and swing, outdoor eating area and an inside playroom with lots of toys. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable. An added bonus are the chickens who provided my four year old with much amusement and the kitchen garden, which we used ingredients from to cook some wonderful meals. Tamara was really friendly and helpful and the whole process was super easy.

Tamara’s house exceeded our expectations! We were a group of four adults and one 4-year-old and it was just right for us. My son loved the treehouse, chickens and playroom, and we all enjoyed the delicious homegrown fruit and vegetables from the garden. There is a play area just near the school behind the house, and another park close by (although there was so much to do during our short stay we didn’t make it here!) The stunning beaches were very near by too. Tamara is lovely and gave us some great recommendations - we hadn’t realised the Eden Project was relatively nearby and spent a brilliant day there thanks to her telling us about it! We had made the long drive to Falmouth to visit another family member who ended up not being able to see us, but it was totally worth it to stay in Tamara’s beautiful home. We’ll hopefully be back again next year :)

Great location central to Falmouth. Lovely house and fun decor. Loved the chickens and outdoor space. Great communication from host.

Very nice old house with all amenities. only thing missing for us spoiled Canadianswho have never seen a percolator is a Keurig coffee maker. Otherwise a fun place to stay.

Perfect character family home for our family. Great location - a short walk into town. Comfortable, clean and all the useful things you'd need. Plenty of room and entertainment.
