Evelyn is an amazing host. Check-in and out is painless. She greeted us the evening we arrive and assured us if we need anything to ask. She gave several recommendations of places to see. Would love to stay at Evelyn’s place again.

The Sun House has a GREAT view! The area is really peaceful and had some wonderful hikes. Last but not least, Evelyn was a GREAT host. She was very attentive, and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. She even left me a little gift for my birthday. 10/10 would recommend this stay.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich super! Es ist genau wie beschrieben und der Blick und die Lage sind ein Traum. Wir konnten von der Terrasse Papageien und Tucane beobachten. Evely war eine großartige Gastgeberin! Super-freundlich, schnell erreichbar per Messenger. Sie hat uns auch geholfen einen Trip mit Pferden zu buchen. Ihre Tips in der Gästemappe in Ihrem Haus waren wirklich gut! Liebe Evelyn, vielen Dank! Das war ein toller Aufenthalt. Falls wir wieder nach Costa Rica kommen, werden wir deine Unterkunft wieder buchen!

After vacationing in busier parts of Costa Rica we ended our trip with a few days at Evelyn's place near Monteverde. It was a little hard for us to find as it is off the main road, but once we figured it out we were very pleased with the place and its location. Such a wonderful place for us to relax, to hang out on the back deck, catch our breath, read a book, and just be - bathed in the beautiful rain forest surroundings. The temperature was perfect as well - cooler than in Tamarindo or La Fortuna. My only regret was that we only had the place for three days - four or five days there would have been preferred. Should we come to Costa Rica again, we will definitely plan on returning to Evelyn's SunHouse.

We loved our stay at the Sun House. We'd wake up each morning to the amazing sounds of Howler Monkeys and Toucans. The view and privacy are stunning. Well appointed kitchen, comfy living room, spacious bedrooms. I spent most afternoons on the patio hammock snoozing. This is the place to stay if you want seclusion and peaceful retreat. Hosts were very responsive. Check in and check out were perfect. 5 stars and we'll stay here again for sure!
