If looking for a roomy, quiet place to relax this is the place. Extremely clean! Nice furnishings and very comfortable; especially the living room furniture.

Matthew was a friendly host who provided fresh eggs. It was a great place for two dogs to relax and not worry about traffic getting them barking. Portland is a great location to look at all of the many areas around Nashville. All of the amenities were modern and had a good country theme. House was a little big for just two people but cozy enough for the two of us and our two large dogs.

A true slice of heaven. This location offers everything about Tennessee that will steal your heart. The scenery, easy access to town ( Portland Pizza and Milo's are fantastic), and mostly the accommodations this Barndo provides, is excellent. Our dog enjoyed sitting outside watching the wildlife and we loved hearing the frogs sing in the evenings. The building it's self is meticulously clean, has everything you could imagine or ever need in the kitchen. There's comfy beds, TV, spacious bathroom, and laundry. The decor perfectly balances the class and elegance of the south with a real down home feel. Our host was more than gracious. He was very friendly and helpful in multiple capacities. Our trip was to secure a new home and relocate 1200 miles across the country. Our host and this BNB truly helped put a positive spin on a stressful time for us. We're honored to have such good people as neighbors and highly recommend their space. It's beautiful in every way here.

Matthew went out of his way to make sure we had everything thing we needed and was comfortable. This place is a great gem with a small town atmosphere. Very relaxing!!
