We stayed about ten days and really enjoyed the place. Very clean and as per pictures Very comfy beds (2x full size!) Fast internet and Netflix. All good. We will stay again!

2/5 Location: - The building is next to a major construction site - poor air quality and loud while outside. - The road to the building is semi-gravel and lacking a sidewalk on either side. - Across the bridge (direction opposite of downtown), there is a lot of local street shops. I saw a handful, but they were closed before 11am and in the early afternoon so local’s eating time is important to consider. It did not always feel very safe in this area. Apartment/Stay: - The place smelled very strongly of wet paint/chemicals. I wanted and attempted to leave immediately, but the host would not accommodate. Host confirmed it was painted ~2months ago - I don’t understand the smell. Seems unsafe, I reported this to Airbnb. - It is not spotless, there are some minor stains throughout - There is basically 0 view, you are looking at another building. Host: - Calvin responds very slowly (if at all) on Airbnb - this is a major concern imo. He responds quickly on other platforms (Wechat in my case). Overall, I definitely won’t stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend this place. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the price is low. I would much prefer a different place at this price-point or to go slightly higher and avoid these headaches - both figurative and literal after smelling paint for 3 days.
