Beautiful house, everything you could need. Clean and very well maintained and equipped. The horses and dogs were a highlight. It is remote and grocery shopping is an hour round trip but the secluded location is just beautiful and so peaceful. We saw warthogs and monkeys and buck and a jackal. Stars every night and so quiet. Ronel was so helpful and kind. The two ladies (Becky and Sarah) who maintain the house are like cleaning fairies. They came in two or even three times a day to clean and tidy, I’ve never known such amazing service. They were absolutely wonderful. The only thing I’d change is to have the pool heated as it is quite cold but other than that it’s perfect. 3 generations all enjoyed. The house is really spacious, plenty of space to have privacy or sit around as a family especially at the long dining table. Luxury in the magnificent mountains.

tolles Haus! Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise vom Kruger NP nach Johannesburg hier. Die Zufahrt ist ein bisschen abenteuerlich (SUV wäre von Vorteil), aber es lohnt sich. Man fühlt sich, wie in einem Schloss. Top. Vielen Dank.

Exquisite house, amazing view and the most welcoming host! We stayed 3 nights with a large family group (most from overseas) and everyone, from kids to adults, had the best time! The house is incredible - just like the photos, very tastefully decorated and with absolutely everything that you may need. The exterior patio, with the infinity pool and the view from there is as peaceful as it gets. And the host (Ronel) was incredibly generous and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Ronel was very thorough and hands on from the confirmation of our booking up until our check out. She ensured that we will be able to maximize our stay and that all needs were taken care of. The dinners we had during our stay was exquisite and very elegant, complete with a three-course meal and a beautiful setup, making the ambiance of the room very warm and intimate for us. I think the only minor issue we had was on our last day, we were still having breakfast but the cleaners started changing the sheets of our beds even though we haven’t started packing yet. We requested them to stop and continue this after we have packed all our stuff and completed check out (to which they obliged.) Overall, I would say our three days/two nights stay was indeed one of the bests we’ve had in South Africa. Thank you, Ronel and Henrihet for letting us experience staying at your beautiful home! Highly recommended :)

We had an amazing time at the villa. The house was clean and very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And on top of that you have an amazing view from the pool. I would absolutely recommend this place!
