We stayed at this lovely guesthouse again after returning from our cycling trip to the islands. It was the perfect stopover. The stairs are a challenge with luggage. But the view is amazing.

Great accommodations! Authentic Japanese feel - small house on a very steep hill near a shrine, many many stone stairs - walking was exhilarating (best to taxi with luggage). The view over the port town was amazing. Located directly above the train station. Host is very helpful and accommodating. The house is close to the ferry to go to the beginning of Shimanami Kaido cycling route. There is a covered shopping street with food, coffee, clothing and even a guitar shop. Also a fantastic small pizza restaurant nearby. Altogether great place to stay! We’ll be back.

景色がとてもよくゆっくりと時間を過ごすことができました。 部屋も清潔でとても快適でした。 駐車場までと宿発施設まで少々迷いました。しかし尾道らしさを感じられる景観で、途中展望台もあり楽しみながら歩くことができます。

Splendid airb&b with a real japanese experience. The view from the place on Onimichi is awesome. Be aware that you have to climb steps to get there, but the view and the accommodation is 100% worth it!
