Beach living at its best. The space has a definite low maintenance beach vibe. An enclosed outside kitchen area and covered patio for dining, drinking and relaxing in the shade. We took pictures to copy some design elements at home and enjoyed being surrounded by antiques. Very safe neighborhood community where we forgot to lock the car and front door, yet never felt compelled to. Such a wonderful stay that we are thinking about buying property here next year. The place is close (a few minutes' walk) to the river mouth and beach. However, it is unfortunately not very private as the hostess has access to the dining and kitchen area (located outside the unit), surprised us during dinner, and swopped pans while we were gone, which made us feel somewhat uncomfortable. As a previous reviewer also stated, it is not well equipped for self-catering. In the end we only stayed one night (we had booked and payed for two).
