The Farmhouse was so much better than expected. Beautiful home, comfortable, clean, well stocked, & easy to find. It was so entertaining to look out the windows in the house to see what all the animals were up to at any given moment - just like Live stream 4k 3D HDTV including the awesome thunder and lightening storm! Brechelle and Matt welcomed us (me and 5yo granddaughter) out to the barn to visit the new calves and let us feed the chickens (after we asked) and we’re always willing to stop & chat for a few as we were coming and going. They let us know if they were expecting livestock pick up or delivery, pending calf birthing, and so many other things on their farm & around the area. Their dogs were so friendly & very well mannered, it was the perfect place to let our two dogs run amok and burn off some energy. Couldn’t ask for a better touchdown spot for the week while working towards relocating to the area. Plus the dozen chicken eggs they left for us were delicious!

Amazing host, beautiful place, and has all the farm animals you would ever want to pet. Matt was very friendly and we appreciated his quick responses even at a late hour. This place is definitely worth checking out!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bunch Barn! The house was great: classic old farmhouse with just the right amount of modern updates. The wood stove worked great to keep the place warm. The location is beautiful and super close to national forest land where we did some cross country skiing. Matt and Brechelle were fantastic hosts and getting to know them and their herd of Islandic ponies was really special. I highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a special get away!

My colleague and I stayed here when we were in the region for a meeting in Republic. We have both lived in very remote places when we were younger, and we were just smitten with this place. The farmhouse was lovely, honestly much nicer and cleaner than we anticipated. We loved the furnishings, particularly the wood cook stove. We came in after dark and Matt made sure we had clear directions, and left a marker at the end of the driveway for us. The house was lit up and the wood stove was going strong. There was tons of wood and it's a really nice stove. In the morning I went for a run up the mountain into the USFS land. It was absolutely gorgeous and the larches were peaking - just amazing! The kitchen space was great and we loved the big windows, and my colleague loved watching the horses and cows. The hottub was really great too. We loved everything about it and hope to come back someday. Thanks for sharing your house!
