Greiner is ideal for skiers and cross-country skiers. You can enter the cross-country skiing track right from the exterior stairs or go to the nearest ski lift SKI Monkova dolina, which is only 300 m away. Slope is recommended for beginners, intermediate skiers and children. The ski resort also provides ski equipment rental.
Hiking trails starting a few meters from Greiner Chalet are among the trails with most beautiful sceneries in the whole Tatra Mountains. These exceptional panoramas are caused by alkaline, calcite geological base, which significantly differentiated the flora from the rest of Tatras Mountains.
Peaks of Belianske Tatras are called "the greenest". Most of the 14 km long ridge is strictly protected and only three areas are accessible - Monkova dolina, Dolina siedmych prameňov and Zadné Meďodoly. Despite the fact that the Belianske Tatras do not have a mountain lake, they are considered to be the most beautiful and nature richest part of the High Tatras.
Surroundings of Ždiar has more than 42 km of cycling routes for advanced and recreational tourists. The most recent is a cycle route connecting Tatranská Kotlina and Ždiar. An ideal trip for cyclo-lovers is Zdiar - Tatranska Kotlina - Belianska jaskyňa (cave).

Greiner chalet is located right in the heart of Belianske Tatry - Monkova dolina. Skiers will appreciate the little ski resort 300 m away from the chalet. Ždiar is famous for its folk arts and traditions.
