Ritchie is a lovely host. Ritchie communicated clearly and was more than happy to be of assistance to make our stay enjoyable for its full purpose and intent. Ritchie’s place is so peaceful and the room was more like a mini guest suite in its secluded area of the house (with a door from the hallway that divided it clearly from the rest of the house, making the bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet all very private). With plenty of shared spaces and things to do (theatre room, swimming pool, kayaks, paddle boards, jet ski, pontoon to fish from and more!) we couldn’t help but feel relaxed and satisfied with this choice of accommodation. Originally we had booked a whole house and our booking had fallen through. What a blessing that was as we’d never have gotten all the perks of such a premium location with all the entertainment extras if we hadn’t be redirected to Ritchie’s. All the reviews were spot on and the photos don’t do it justice! So immaculate and aesthetically pleasing!

Very peaceful place, my partner and I needed a place to escape and unwind for a few days and lit place did not disappoint, with the home gym theatre room and right on the canal there was really no reason to step outside this little oasis Ritchie has created.

Ritchie and Leanne have a beautiful home located in a fabulous position on a wide stretch of the canal. The sunset from the sand bunker is stunning, watching the changes in colour until night descends. It was our first time sharing someone’s home but our hosts made us feel welcome. It was a convenient location to drive to visit various places on Bribie Island. Would we return again, most definitely 😀
