What a lovely holiday!!! Beverley was delightful. I arrived a bit later than expected but she was there to make sure I was safe and sound and had what I needed. The cottage was perfect. Clean, uncluttered and inviting and well stocked for the traveler. Theres a lovely place to sit outside with views of the sheep, and chickens and these adorable runner ducks that would come and visit me while I was enjoying my coffee. :) it all made me want to sit there forever. Not to mention off in the distance you can see hints of a beautiful château, so fitting for my ideal vision of the French country landscape. Beverley invited me to join her in the morning rounds and introduced me to all the lovely critters. So much work and she makes it all look easy and joyful. Truly an enjoyable stay! I’ll be sure to come back in the summer when it’s warmer and I can enjoy the swimming pool! I dare say, the next time I may feel a bit like I’m coming home. Thank you for a lovely holiday and money well spent!

Staying here was a fabulous experience. Our host Beverly could not do enough for us. Very friendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful spot, the animals are a delight to watch and engage with! Will definitely be back!

Beverley and Charles could not do more and were very hospitable hosts in a delightful setting. I had a problem with my car and Charles kindly dropped me off at the garage and drove me back when the car had been fixed. Highly recommended and would certainly return!

Could not find fault with anything. Beverley is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble. Gave us a tour of her wonderful farm and we met all the gorgeous friendly animals. Even had some homemade cakes and fudge from the onsite farm shop! The area around the farm is great for cycling and walking, with lots of signposted routes, there's also kayaking nearby, but we will have to try that on our next visit. The gite was everything we could have asked for - beautiful, spotless, well-equipped and so very peaceful. The beds are just right and we enjoyed the best night's sleep we have had in a long time. As far the pool and outside terrace - Wow!! It's all been carefully and considerately designed with lots of space for relaxing, outdoor dining, BBQs and even a small bar! It was the perfect place and we can't wait to go back next year for a longer holiday. Definitely recommend this gite for short/long stays, brilliant for kids and adults because there's so much to see and do. 10/10 ⭐

Beverley was very welcoming. It is an extremely peaceful location and the stars and Milky Way were very clear. The animals especially the beautiful Simon were a joy to watch. Provisions were generous and delightful. We had a good look around the area at Bevs suggested places and especially enjoyed the market at Cahors and the views and bar at Belaye. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming so we felt right at home. Ty
