Our early spring stay at Karen’s cabin was wonderful. We needed a home large enough for a group of friends and this house provided the perfect amount of space inside and out. Karen was really lovely about responding to all our questions and anticipating any issues we might have with lots of information. The location is beautifully isolated while still being within easy driving distance to anything you might need. The house was well-appointed and very comfortable. The property itself was our favorite part: the lake, the views, the fire pit, the kayaks and paddle boat - we were in heaven! We would all happily return for another visit!

Karen’s place was a little slice of heaven and provided the perfect base for the winter escape we were looking for. You felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, off the grid, yet close to town. It was only a 25 minute drive to the village of Lake George. The actual house was very comfortable and we enjoyed hanging by the fire playing games and enjoying the gorgeous view. Our puppy Teddy had a great time and was happy to be able to bring him along. This house would be amazing in any season and we look forward to come back soon. Karen was a great host and very responsive.

The house and host (Karen) were perfect. I went during winter, the pond was frozen & walkable and the entire area was snow covered. It was a picture perfect peaceful place. Karen reached out to me before the trip and made sure I understood the winter road conditions and gave me directions with pictures and markers to find the house easily. The house is exactly as described and Karen is immediately responsive to text and phone calls.

Karen’s place is located on a beautiful spot. Even on a cold winter day, over seeing the lake was beautiful. It is a secluded location but exactly what we expected and wanted. Very relaxing and house has all the amenities to enjoy the place. We could even see tons of stars one night
