A beautiful place to stay, Thank you.

The place is very lovely and I enjoyed exploring the walks in Pirongia Forest park which is simply beautiful. The house is very tidy and spacious. Sadly, the entire time I was there (2 days) there was a big tree felling and mulching job going on next door which was extremely loud. It was meant to be a peaceful get away, and it was anything but that. I know this is out of the hosts control, but it definitively put a damper on my visit. I would have hoped that whoever was doing this job would notify neighbours of what was happening, especially if they knew that an Air bnb was next door.

The accomodation was great, spacious and had a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside at the rear of the private garden. We will book again if we ever look to stay in the area.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dieser schönen und sauberen Wohnung. Manche Details entsprachen nicht ganz den Bildern, man merkte, dass vieles umgestaltet und zum Teil renoviert worden war. Insgesamt war aber alles in Ordnung, die Wohnung ist empfehlenswert.

We stayed four days in this lovely, spacious and modern cottage (not the adjacent house). Rural outlook with great views of Mount Pirongia. Very comfortable bed and sofa, and good lighting for reading (important for us). Good wifi and Netflix too. However the cottage did not have 'everything you need' as promised in the listing. For example, the kitchen lacked such basics as a potato peeler and a sharp knife of any size (we ended up using my pocket knife). There was no milk in the fridge. No spare roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. No top sheet on the bed (another guest has already mentioned this as an issue). There were also a range of maintenance matters that need attending to. This lack of attention to detail did somewhat detract from our experience of what is fundamentally a wonderful holiday home.
