I can say this is my best airbnb experience so far. Julie's mom gave us a tour of the house and explained everything we needed to know. And her grandson Aiden even helped us carry our luggage which was so nice of them. Everything is super clean, not just looking clean on the surface, but they actually did deep cleaning. Not a speck of dust anywhere, even the outside deck where normally you see a lot of leaves and dust, but it was so clean! There's so much care that went into this home, and we can feel the warmth and welcoming atmosphere the second we stepped in. It almost felt like we were right at home. The hosts are so generous with how well stocked the kitchen is, and also many other amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to find things we needed that we forgot to pack. The bed is super comfortable, ceiling fan is installed everywhere so we can stay cool, air conditioning also works really well, internet was fast, every appliance is new and works very well. The firepit was also so enjoyable, there's wood, and fire starter all equipped for guests. It was also nice to take a stroll around the property, which is so big that it takes about 15-20 minutes of walking. Seriously, there's nothing to complain about this home even if we try to find something. Thank you Julie and everyone who provided this wonderful stay!

I've stayed at many AirBNBs in Grass Valley and this place stood head and shoulders above them all due to the FLATNESS, peace, seclusion (even though the house is near the road, there is only neighborhood traffic), views, trails, and frankly, the small touches. The cabin is extremely well presented, very comfortable (I had the best nights sleep ever in the bed - maybe I need a new mattress lol but still..). The property is pooch friendly, in fact pooch-centric! Everything you could possibly need for your dog is provided, including skunk wash!). Julie's mother, Shirley and her grandson welcomed us and showed us around. If you're into Mini Coopers, be sure to ask Shirley about them :) She was so sweet as to have put out a fresh bowl of water for my dog - it was over 100 that day so it was a very welcome and thoughtful touch. The only thing you need to worry about is your dog chasing something out onto the road - just keep an eye out as even the best behaved dogs have urges lol. This property has a very large flat section right in front of the house and the property is easily walkable. My dog was exhausted by the end of the day! Although I didn't cook, the kitchen is extremely well appointed and has a lot of condiments, etc. There are a ton of DVDs that were nostalgic. The house has an upstairs loft that was hot but this place has AC (I've been to places in GV that did not have AC so this was a major plus). I fell in love with the deck and outside seating. The deck is a great place to have your morning joe, but there is also seating and BBQ at the side of the house, which is serene in the morning shade. It was all great! This was also the only place that had a firepit that you were actually allowed to use. I didn't due to the heat anyway lol but it was just nice to have the freedom to if I so desired. We had a truly amazing time here, the best experience so far tbh, and I'm sure anyone else staying here will feel the same way!

This place was exactly as described. We had so much fun. It gave us a chance to genuinely disconnect from devices and connect with nature. The porch is wonderful, overlooking the huge property. The trails around the property were perfect for exploring with the kids (found a little scorpion-made my sons day). Saw deer at night, wild turkeys in the day. And plenty of room for our dog to get tired out. The fire pit was great, too, making nightly s’mores a must. Overall, loved the property and the accommodations, as well as Julie’s communication and excellent hosting! Looking forward to coming back!
