Perfect spot for our weekend away with 4 adults and 2 kids. Very close to the country club where we attended a wedding. Kids enjoyed swimming, fishing off the pier, watching water skiers and having an outdoor movie screening on the laptop in the super cute boat house. Beautiful sunsets. Super comfy beds/linens/pillows. Loved the funky decor.

Great location on a beautiful lake! Nicely furnished, fresh flowers in several rooms upon arrival, thoughtfully maintained and appointed. Great patio, deck, and lake access. Boat lift was a great addition this year.

We loved our family time at this lake cottage. It truly felt like an escape, even though I was just 45 minutes from our home. The fall colors and lake views were lovely in mid October. We used the fire pit and provided wood to make s’mores as much as we could. It was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. We would’ve like to have a TV to hook up our Chromecast, but made do with a laptop. Tips for anyone staying in the future: be sure to bring your own water to drink, and if you have little ones a stepstool for the tall bathroom counters. The host was wonderful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

I’m so glad we chose this place! It’s on beautiful big cedar lake and very close to Kettle Morraine state forest. The house is so cozy and stylish, the kitchen has everything you need. The wallpaper and bedding were my favorites! Really enjoyed all the outdoor spaces, and kayaks. It was just lovely! One tip for travelers is to bring gallons of drinking water since water from the tap isn’t recommended. Or you can quickly pick some up at the gas station.
