Went with 5 of my friends. My 3rd trip to Montinita, their 1st. They were skeptical of international travel. They said I couldn’t have done better finding a place/airbnb. They had AC as a demand and I was worried that the AC here would be just ok- but wow it was cold. Very few of my 10 South American trips in an area like Montinita have great AC and hot water- this place over delivered. The working hot hot showers and cold cold AC let us enjoy everything about the trip. The pool was perfect- I didn’t think we would use it much but it was definitely the hangout spot. It was a perfect trip and a perfect place. I love Ecuador and Montinita and want to come back because of that- but now I want to come back to this place!

I was on the street in back of The Villa where I was staying, nice Villa, right on the beach, pool, nice grounds, well located, rustic, but very comfortable, available guest help 24/7, great place, etc. So anyway I’m on the street and the neighbor comes up to me, “You see that guy over there?” He’s talking about Juan, the owner of The Villa who was at that moment politely speaking to a couple of teenage kids visiting Montanita about the benefits to all if rather than throwing trash on the street, simply walk it over an extra twenty feet to the trash can. “He’s the owner of this Villa here,” he points with his thumb. “He is such a kiss ass. I’d be yelling at those punks. It’s just like him and his hired help, Poncho and Juanita.” Poncho at the moment was pacing down the street towards us with our laundry and some bandages for my son who had witnessed an unfortunate meeting between his knee and a rock. So then the guy asks, “Where are you staying?”

Realmente la ubicación de el lugar es excelente... Tienes salida directa a la playa.. Puedes ir al supermercado caminando esta super cerca... Lamentablemente el alojamiento está en mal estado.. Necesita mucho mantenimiento. La limpieza muy mala al llegar tuvimos que hacer una limpieza nosotros.. Hay muchos bichos..sobre todo en la cocina.. .La piscina y el jacuzzi no están óptimos... El costo es muy elevado para los servicios que te ofrecen.

La casa esta en una ubicacion increible y la zona de la piscina y terraza es increible tambien. La atencion de Juan y sus empleados es expectacular, nos ayudo en todo lo que le pediamos. Esperemos volver pronto

El lugar tiene una excelente ubicación vista al mar en un lugar tranquilo casa muy cómoda y muy bien mantenida Juan el anfitrión muy atento muy recomendado
