The location of this airbnb is excellent and the recent renovations have also increased the value of the property. That said, there were several issues upon arrival (no electricity, no hot water, no real blankets, no water bottles or potable water). Lakesha was very quick to respond and help the situation, but I don't think the current price of the property reflects the quality. Once these issues are sorted, perhaps this will be different. But the location, as I said, is excellent!

This was the best vacation of our lives. The cottage is right on the beach, was super clean and had all the amenities needed. It is actually closer to the water that it appears on the pictures. It is located on a large lot of land with your own private beach and your very own coconut tree. There are beach chairs and a bench by the water. The porch is huge and had two very comfortable lounge chairs. There is an AC in the bedroom but we did not use it. We slept with the windows open and used the ceiling fans. The ocean breeze and the sound of the waves was all that was required. We ate with Mama Belle at Cow Wreck restaurant which is a short walk from the cottage. Mama Belle owns the cottage and treated us like we were family. She cooked lunch and dinner for us FRESH every day. She would deliver the dinner to the cottage every day. Mama's food was amazing - ribs, barbecue chicken, conch fritters, lobster fritters, ceviche, conch, coconut pie, etc. We will certainly go back!

Wonderful peaceful location right on the beach. It's close to two bars and one restaurant, but anything else would require some way of getting around. Lakesha will arrange L&M Taxis if you need a taxi, and you can rent scooters or vehicles from L&M. There was NO hot water here, which might not be a problem in the summer but it would have been nice in December.
