Irena was very responsive and flexible, helping us make a reservation, being flexible with our check in time fluctuating, had a fire in the wood stove going for us when we arrived in the rain. the breakfast she offers for 12 euro was very worth it, delicious and so much food! the home and tiny town are beautiful and feel very historic. she offered a whole list of recommendations and assistance with booking and it was a perfect landing point for exploring local wineries. would definitely recommend!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Host gentilissima e disponibile. Ci ha dato molti consigli e ci ha aiutato nell’organizzare il nostro soggiorno. La casa è un gioiellino ed il posto è magico. L’unica cosa che ci è dispiaciuta è stato il fatto di fermarsi solo una notte… ma torneremo.

Great place, really charming and has everything you may need. The host was extremely nice and helped us with restaurant reservation and breakfast, and gave us valuable information about a tour in the area. Slovenia is a magnificent place and Vipava Valley is a real gem.

Villa Irena was beautiful and full of charm I highly recommend you stay here, the hosts are very friendly and will give you a variety of local recommendations from activities, good food, hikes and more. It is very easy to find because of the very clear instructions and photos to help you locate it. Parking is free and only a minutes from accommodation. The kitchen is very well equipped and comes well stocked with cooking essentials like oil, salt pepper etc. There is also a generous selection of teas and coffees. We loved our stay and would recommend it!

Our stay at Vipavski kriz was one of the nicest stays we’ve ever had. The place was incredibly beautiful and clean, on top of that it had all the household items and ingredients one usually has to bring with them. There’s coffee, tea, different kinds of oils, we even got wine as a present from the owner. Next to that, the place was incredibly peaceful and we slept like babies. There was also a map with all the things you could do in and around Vipavski kriz, which we find incredibly useful. Because of that we went on a beautiful hike and ate some great food! Irena also told us about some local market which was a really sweet thing to discover. The best part of the house was its terrace which lightened up beautifully during the night. There was even a TV with cable so you could watch everything like a local and even rewind back to see more things from the past 7 days. And all that from your bed! I truly recommend staying there🌞
