We loved the Woodland Hideaway! Heather was a great host. Super friendly and responsive. The house itself was perfect for multiple families with dogs and kids. Lots of stuff in the game room downstairs for them to do and not a whole lot of breakable stuff to worry about. Very spacious. Totally doable drive to ski area and town (about 15mins) and very scenic too. Lots of great hiking trails down the street in the state park. This is our third year spending president’s week at Sunday River. We’ve stayed in a lot of airbnbs in the area (most of which cost at least $200/night more) and this one was definitely our favorite. Highly recommend.

Rinse - repeat - enjoy!! This is our 4th year at Woodland Hideaway and it never fails to deliver!! The house is in a great location, very comfortable and welcoming. Our guests are always impressed with the location, views and amenities provided here. Best fireplace ever!! We have had the good fortune to stay at numerous vacation rentals and this remains at the top of our list! Looking forward to another return trip next year!

Great place! Perfect for two families. Basement was well stocked with games and things to do. Sunday river and restaurants were a relatively easy 20 drive away. Sitting by the fireplace after a long day of skiing was just perfect! Would love to come back.

We stayed at Woodland Hideaway for a Christmas trip with our family and while there were a few hiccups with severe weather, Heather was extremely responsive and proactive. The home was warm, cozy, inviting and perfect for our group. We would (and will) choose to stay here again when looking for a ski getaway/ mountain retreat.
