Great stay, convenient location. Our first visit to Port St Joe and this place was close to Mexico Beach and St Joe.

Location was 5 minutes drive from Port St. Joe and 2 minutes to the closest free, public beach access and a great greenway. Pool and hot tub in the complex were great for kids and a quick walk from the house. House super clean, kitchen well appointed and easy to find. Will make a return trip!

We had a great time and a great stay! The location of the cottage is wonderful with beautiful beaches nearby. It is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The cottage does have a bit of wear on some of the interior finishes and the carpet is quite stained. Overall, these didn’t detract from our time. We would stay again, as the host has already mentioned the carpet is being replaced soon.

Upon arrival the home was cute, but had a moldy smell when walking into the front door. The house looked clean until we walked upstairs. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. There were stains in each room. My son and I both fell down the stairs as they were slippery and steep. The bunk beds definitely need to be tighten or upgraded because they squeak at the slightest move. It woke everyone up anytime I turned in the middle of the night. You can also hear the highway from the bedroom and that was loud. I absolutely hate leaving reviews like this but I do feel as it necessary. We felt gross after leaving and sleeping in the home. Everyone in the area was quiet and friendly otherwise. For the price, I 100% would not recommend this as a stay especially because you have to sign a separate contract with their rental company which I didn’t receive until days before our trip.

People in the complex were friendly and helpful. Amy responded quickly when we asked for an extra trash bag. We enjoyed Port St. Joe and the area beaches. However, there were a number of smaller issues that were disappointing. Only 1 kitchen garbage bag, 2 dishwasher pods, and a limited amount of toilet paper. Master suite has a full size bed, not the queen that was advertised. Carpet upstairs is stained and dirty. 20 minutes after a shower, our feet were dirty from walking around inside. No beach chairs or beach towels. This would have been nice to know in advance. Two swimming pools: water in both was about the same temperature—High 70s. If one is heated (as advertised) it is heated by the sun… Hot tub did not work the first day. Hot tub worked for 3 minutes and then quit on the last day. Signage said pools closed at dusk—the hot tub stopped working 1:15 before sunset. Very disappointing. Screened in porch was definitely not private. Neighbors porch is 10 feet away.
