Dr. Sabrina Black is an author, professor, counselor, mentor, life coach, and global missionary humanitarian. Dr. Black is the Clinical Director of Abundant Life Counseling Center in Detroit, Michigan. Sabrina has provided hope, help, and healing for individuals, families, and groups for over 25 years. Dr. Black has degrees in psychology and counseling from WSU. Her years in Corporate America in Human Resources and Executive Training Development has given her a background in diversity inclusion, team cohesion, and leadership empowerment. She is an international speaker and humanitarian, touching and transforming lives around the world. Sabrina is co-founder of Women Who Lead, Aspire Higher Leadership Think Tank, and Girls with Great Potential - International. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Community Icon Award, Who’s Who in Detroit, 100 Top Educators, Spirit of Detroit Award and the Kingdom Dreamer award for Global Impact. Sabrina is the author of over 10 books and workbooks including, “Live Right Now.” Sabrina has been married 35 years to Warren JOSE; they have one son, four grandchildren, and one great-grand. She loves movies, board games, musical theater, books, adventure, travel and helping others. Sabrina and JOSE love to entertain and host parties and gatherings. JOSE recently retired from MGM Grand, Detroit. He is a community advocate and volunteers his time with the Boy Scouts as a leader and as a Chaplain with his fraternity. He is a part-time comedian and can hold a conversation about everything. JOSE was born and raised in the city of Detroit and loves every building and street. He is a historian and has done tours of the city for over thirty years. He can name every building downtown and tell you the story behind it.
