We loved Christine’s suite of loft rooms. Christine and Peter were wonderful hosts regardless of whether we wanted to chat or have some peaceful private time. It was cosy and comfortable. The eaves were a little restrictive in terms of height but I’d return for all the comforts. Breakfast was thoughtful l, healthy and plenty of it, and being able to make it ourselves when we wanted it was perfect. Slaithwaite was only a 10 minute walk, as was the canal. Lovely town with so many nice places to eat and drink.

Was a home away from home, just what we needed while staying away during a rennovation. Christine was more than accomodating and went the extra mile to help us out.

Christine and Peter are very warm and friendly. Welcomed us into their home. Gave us continental breakfast and plenty of drinks to hand in a little kitchen area. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Very warm and comfortable. Thankyou so much for your hospitality. Sorry for the mishap. Would love to stay with you again if you'll have us. We loved the tranquillity. It's a beautifully appointed loft room (with limited head height in some areas) and a very, very comfortable bed. Christine has thought of everything a traveller could need and provided it. There's a great information pack, containing lots of very helpful guides and details of local amenities. The bathroom has a lovely shower and separate tub. Christine provided the most delicious breakfast of homemade bread, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and filter coffee. All in all, we loved our stay at Bethany House. Thank you, Christine.
