I’m Shona, and this is my husband Rudo and our kids Kayla and Kaia. Together we own and run this little boutique hotel in the making! Opening a stylish yet budget and eco friendly boutique hotel has been a life long dream of mine. So in 2015 when we moved back to Barbados (Rudo’s Birthplace), we went on a mission to make this dream a reality. In 2019 we purchased 19 Moravian Gardens/19 Maxwell Hill Road, a rundown 11 unit / 5 story oceanview apartment complex in Maxwell, Christ Church and started doing a massive redevelopment, drawing on my experience as an Architect, Rudos experience as a Financial Advisor, and our joint love of unique budget friendly travel. We want to give you everything we look for in travel accommodations — safe central location, nice views, unique & comfortable interiors and prices that don’t break the bank ;-) Right now only 7 of 11 apartments are finished and listed for rent on airbnb, and we are working hard to finish renovating the rest of the building. We know we have a LONG way to go, to truly make Paradise Point Barbados a boutique hotel, but we hope that you book with us and enjoy all that our holiday apartments have to offer — style, comfort, central location, oceanviews, pool access and GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!
