We loved the place and wish we could've spent more time to enjoy the place. It was spotless and Chris and Renay even took the time to supply us with a welcome pack of goodies for us to enjoy. Chris and Renay very friendly and welcoming too which makes you feel at home. thanks Chris and Renay.

Chris and Renay are the best hosts. They communicated so well. Was very flexible with check in (we had a diverted flight and only arrived very late). The personal touches are amazing. Fresh flowers, cake, eggs, bread and milk. They go beyond of what was expected. The garden is stunning, and we had a nice swim. The boys played Badminton and they even went to get fresh eggs from the local chickens in the morning. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Chris and Renay - we will see you guys again soon.

Will definitely be back to stay at Pecan Nut Guest Cottage if and when we are in the area. The attention to every last detail was second to none. Renay left out a cake, eggs laid by Dolly, Daisy & Gwendolyn and anything else we could have wished for including fresh milk. We appreciated the thoughtfulness immensely. The gardens are of particular importance to Chris who has labeled plants and herbs etc - the pride in the garden is very obvious and was much appreciated; Chris is incredibly knowledgeable. Unfortunately the weather during our stay didn’t cooperate to allow us to enjoy it more. Thank you for a comfortable, cosy, flexible stay. We’ll be back. ❤️

We enjoyed our stay there very much. The house and property are beautiful. Even the daily South African load shedding wasn't a problem as the hosts have set up a back up electricity source for the wifi and lighting. The hosts are very helpful and available but not intrusive at all.
