I just want to mention also that the pool had mold growing on the one end. The air in the master bedroom never went below 78 degrees. Handles on dresser and bathroom drawers were loose. Most of the toilet paper holders were loose. Other than a few minor things that we noticed throughout our stay, we enjoyed the house immensely. It was a beautiful house. Great location to the beach. Very peaceful.

Great place to stay! Kitchen is awesome! House is spacious and clean. Cable didn’t work in all bedrooms but other than that….AWESOME house to call home for a few days.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving 2022 with a family of 13. The house was large with great rooms, bathrooms, and layout. Everyone slept well! The location is great, and the walk to the beach is very close with an access just about a block from the house. We were also only 15 minutes to Carovo and the sand area to drive out on the beach and see the wild horses. The house is dated, and this shows in all of the rooms, kitchen, and general build of the home. While it is comfortable, it is not new, and everything is older (so I gave it a 4). Unfortunately, the kitchen only has one stove, so it made it difficult to cook Thanksgiving for such a large house. It did have 2 dish washers. Also, they do not have ANY spices (not even salt & pepper). Outside needs some attention as well. There is a bocce ball area but only 3 "real bocce balls" and several plastic and broken balls so it was very difficult to play. Lots of trash around the court area. I feel it is over-priced for the age and wear.

This house met our needs for space with 7 bedrooms and easily absorbed our group of 16. We never felt crowded. Short walk to beach was great. The house needs quite a bit of minor maintenance, especially exterior. Some of the sliding glass doors are worse for wear and hard to open. An exterior door handle fell off and would not lock and the pool deck needs repair. Mattresses are firm, which some liked and some did not. There are many stairs which can make it a challenge for those who are less nimble. However, these were minor issues that did not keep us from enjoying our stay. The kitchen and dining space was suitable. The lower level was perfect for the four older boys in our group. They stayed in the double bunk room w/en-suite off of the game room with game table, pool table and shuffleboard. Central location between Duck and Corolla was nice.
